Fornet International B.V. is founded by Leon Wennekes as a corporate startup to explore internationalisation of Fornet (1900+ shops), an award winning textile care brand with 25+ years experience. A flagship store was launched in the summer of 2022 in the center of the innovative business district of Amsterdam.
At Fornet we are committed to ‘professional service, reasonably priced’. Our value proposition is simple: we offer a better way to take care of clothes through state of the art cleaning and repair services. That means we stimulate the textile industry to become circular while our customers can enjoy life and look good while doing it. Besides our shop we service Amsterdam citizens 6 days per week @home or @work with our e-bike delivery service. Orders are returned in 48 hours.

Our laundry service for consumers is designed to clean anything in your wardrobe such as garments, shoes and home textiles. We can pickup and deliver your items @home or @work, or you can come by our store in the financial district for a convenient drop-off/pickup.
Commercial customers

Léon Wennekes
Founder
Léon is the founder and general manager of Fornet in Amsterdam. He has 15 years of experience in textile care, building a global network of industry professionals ever since he graduated his business administration master degree at the University.
Bruno Mihajlovic
Operational manager
Bruno is the operational manager of Fornet in Amsterdam. He handles all daily cleaning operations and is an expert in stain removal. With a background in leather production and sales you’re always in good hands.
